Scapes Photography’s name reflects the current practice of splitting what we used to call simply ‘Landscapes’, into 3 component parts as Landscape - Seacape - Cityscape

Many of the techniques in shooting one type of ‘scape’ are just as applicable to others, but there are a few distinct differences too

PRACTICE - PRACTICE - PRACTICE - they say will help you improve and become the type & quality of Photographer you aspire to, but its simply NOT TRUE

Practice without understanding how to analyse your results, how to break down the Good & Bad bits, and then apply the changes necessary just means you’ll get ‘better’ at not being great

Training - ideally as 1-2-1s for the more bespoke level of education, tailored specifically to YOU, helps you attain the skills & understanding needed to self-analyse and improve

Once you’ve mastered the Basics, or if you already have, I can help you to polish those skills and realise & develop your own Style of Photography

Your ‘Style’ could be the result of what you like to photograph, how you like to photograph or even edit your work, but you know you’ve developed a ‘Style’ when (at camera club level or in social media) people recognise your work before seeing your name; we just need to make sure you’re work is recognised for being Good, even Great, rather than Poor !!!
